Two cities, one very long walk.

They spoke for a month before they met. It began with a simple note about a shared love of old Tamil film songs, and grew into long evening calls between Chennai and Pune.

When they finally walked along the beach together, neither could quite remember who had suggested it. The walk lasted three hours. Neither noticed.

“It felt less like meeting someone new and more like picking up a conversation.”

Their families met a few weeks later over a long lunch. There were no speeches and no pressure, only two sets of parents discovering how much they had in common.
